Weissglass Speedway

Located on Staten Island, New York City, Weissglass Speedway was a converted baseball field, the shape of the track following the shape of the infield. It was 1/5 mile long, and was almost continuously curved, being nicknamed "The Flying Saucer". The track ran modifieds and mini-stockers (such as Morris Minor's and Ford Anglia's) up to 1972. All traces of the track have since been removed.
