Utah Fairgrounds

A 1/2 mile dirt oval built in 1904 on the Deseret Agricultural and Manufacturing Society fairgrounds at North Temple and 9th West. Racing continued on and off through to the 1930s, with a 1/4 mile dirt oval known as Intermountain Speedway added in 1940. After World War II the track was paved, and was used through until 1972.
