The Autódromo Termas de Río Hondo at Santiago del Estero is 4417m long, and opened in 2008.
In order to host Grade 1 FIA events, the circuit was redesigned by Italian designer Jarno Zaffelli, and extended to 4805m, holding its first event on the 3rd-4th August 2013, a round of the FIA World Touring Car Championship.
