Lordelo

The Circuito Lordelo was a street circuit near based around an area used as a military equipment maintenance area which was being redeveloped. Located in the Pasteleira district, it first held a club meeting on the 3rd June 1962 within the confines of the military area. The circuit was extended to 2.95 km, with the circuit now running into the town centre and returning via a newly constructed road, finally reopening on the 13th-14th August 1966 for a mixed Touring car, GT and F3 meeting. No further motor racing was held on the circuit, although it has been used since then for bicycle races.
