Silloth

A 1.100 mile/1.770 km clockwise circuit. Based on a bumpy airfield in Silloth-on-Solway, Cumbria, used for motorbike racing in the 1970s. Closed in 1982 after Gerry Hislop was killed racing a 350cc Yamaha at the track. The airfield was used by the Silloth Autograss Club from 2002, who use a field on the site, and have their pits located on part of the old track - they play host to around 10 events per year.
