Rathdrum

Also known as the Corballis circuit, this small 0.8 mile road circuit was used 1962-1980s. It was very narrow, and races were run as sprints with the cars set off at 5/8 sec intervals. It ran anticlockwise, and was first used for motorbikes, one of whom lost it at paddock bend, vaulted the hedge and landed on the roof of a nearby bungalow. It was later used by the Irish F2 championship.
