Danbury
Located two miles south-west of Danbury next to the airport, Danbury Fairgrounds
were built in 1908 and hosted a 1/2 mile dirt oval. A 1/5 mile dirt oval was
added in 1940, which was extended to 1/4 miles and paved in 1958. The track
closed in 1981, and in the early 1990s became a shopping center.
