Culver City Speedway

Built by Jack Prince and Art Pillsbury, Culver City Speedway was a 1.25 mile wood oval used between the 14th December 1924 and the 6th March 1927. It featured 45 degree banked turns, and on the 29th November 1925 it was the scene of Red Cariens fatal crash. The track was removed to make way for movie studios.
