Zdirec was first used on the 26th June 1927 for motorcycle races, following an 8km road course. No races were held in 1928 or 1929, but in 1930 a second set of races were held on a much smaller 1.918 km course, which used the topmost part of the previous circuit, but linked back through the town rather than going out into the country. This was used through to 1933, and also held car races that year on the 6th August.
