Bloomsburg Fairgrounds
Bloomsburg Fairgrounds were built in 1855 with a 1/2 mile trotting track.
It was first used for motor-racing in 1923, and continued through until 1985,
when liability insurance became prohibitively expensive. There was an attempt
to revive the track on the 11th July 1987, but the crowd was too small to
cover the insurance cost.
