Aspendale

A horse-track in Melbourne which was first used for a demonstration in 1904, a gravel track was constructed inside the course in 1906. This was rebuilt as a banked concrete track in 1919, but reverted to a less solid surface in the mid-twenties. The track was in use up until World War Two.
