Darlington Park

A 3.8 km motorcycle built on a 510 acre site in Queensland midway between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, which hosted a few track days, but never managed to host a race meeting before it was closed down due to complaints about noise circa 2008. It was located a couple of kilometres west on Peachey Road, which runs off the Pacific Highway. It opened in 1998, with an investment of AUS $74.5 million, with a further extension planned to take the circuit up Mount Darlington which would take the investment up to AUS $240 million, and would also include a 2.5 km 4WD circuit, a 1.1 km kart track, a 400m drag strip and a 400m speedway oval.
