1952 course

A 2.865 km circuit used at least from 1948 to 1952. The start was half way along the dual carriageway of Viale Roma, before taking a right-hand sweep, a left-hand curve, followed by a sharp left onto a 1 km straight which undulated sharply. At the end of the straight, the track went left, followed by an uphill right, another right before turning left onto the start straight. Asmara is 7200 ft (2195 m) above sea-level.
