1940 - Raced first Ferrai T815 sportscar on Mille Miglia. Lead class, retired
1947 - 2nd in a Cisitalia in one make race at Gezereh Island. Also raced
       Maserati 4CLT sportscar
1948 - Won San Remo GP for Maserati, finished 3rd in French GP for Alfa
1949 - Won Buenos Aires GP for Maserati, then joined Ferrari. Won Swiss,
       Italian & Peron GPs in T125
1950 - 5 F1 races (Ferrari), 11 points (2nd Monaco & Italy, but shared
       car with Serafini at Italy)
1951 - 7 F1 races (Ferrari), 30 points. 2 wins (Germany, Italy). Shared
       drive with Gonzalez to 2nd in France
1952 - Won all 6 races entered (Ferrari), 54 points. Missed Swiss GP as
       he enterred Indianapolis 500 instead. World Champion. Also won
       non-championship GPs at Syracuse, Pau, Marseilles, Commingues and
       La Baule
1953 - 8 races (Ferrari), 47 points, World Champion. 5 wins (Argentina,
       Holland, Belgium, Britain, Switzerland). Also won non-championship
       Pau and Bordeauz GPs
1954 - 4 GPs (2 Maserati, 1 Ferrari, 1 Lancia). Won Mille Miglia in a Lancia
1955 - 2 GPs (Lancia). 0 points. Spun off on melting tar in Argentina.
       Won Turin and Naples non-championship GPs. Crashed into harbour in
       Monaco GP, sustaining facial injuries. Crashed while practicing for
       forthcoming Supercortemaggiore race for Ferrari at Monza. Thrown
       from car and killed instantly.
